Live San Francisco Bay Center

Welcome to the live birdcam

You are viewing the live camera at our San Francisco Bay Center. What birds do you see? Tell us on our Facebook page!

With donor help, each year we successfully raise, rehabilitate and release many species of aquatic birds, including Geese and Dabbling Ducks, Diving Ducks, Loons, Grebes, Pelicans, Cormorants, Tubenoses, Herons and Egrets, Shorebirds, Gulls and Terns, and Alcids. Please donate to support our birds in recovery.

Have any questions? Ask us on our Facebook page!

Not seeing any birds? The bird or birds featured may be undergoing exams, or staff/volunteers may currently be cleaning their pools or enclosures. If so, check back again soon! Our BirdCam operates seven days a week from the San Francisco Bay Center in Fairfield, CA.

We also have a BirdCam running at our Los Angeles Center. See more

Note: We use Axis cameras to capture live video feed for this BirdCam. Curious about this live streaming technology? Check out our recent blog post.

Bird Rescue's team of specialists operates two year-round aquatic bird rescue centers in California, which care for over 6,000 birds every year, and has led oiled wildlife rescue efforts in over 220 oil spills in more than a dozen countries.
